In Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE/Encore, Counter allows the user to be defended from any physical attack and reflect it back at the attacker for one round. In the Digital Devil Saga duology, Counter can stack with other Counter skills such as Counterstrike and High Counter, and these passives will work in Human Form. The reflection granted by Counter cannot be ignored by Oda Special. When performing gun attacks, each individual round has a chance to be reflected by Counter, in which case the user's turn will immediately end. In Persona 5, the skill can also reflect Gun Skills, unlike Repel Physical. In Persona 4, Counter can activate for full damage even if the user is currently guarding. In the Persona series, Counter automatically grants the user a low chance of being defended from a physical attack and reflecting it back at the attacker. Milady's Piercer ability does not appear to trigger Counter from enemies. If a weakness is struck at a result of Counter activating, it will not increase the stack count for Sabbaths. In Soul Hackers 2, Counter can activate upon any Physical or Gunfire attacks/skills. If Counter activates against an enemy that repels the affinity, the attack will simply be blocked. Counter does not activate Charging effects, such as Charge and Critical Aura (with the exception of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, where the effect of Focus will be spent on the counterattack). Counter does not activate on attacks that kill the user. In Shin Megami Tensei V, Counter activates after being hit, and on explicitly Strength-based attacks. In the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, Counter gives the user a chance to instantly make a weak physical attack against any physical skill or regular attack that hits them. This can be discussed on the article's talk page. * How does Counter interact with Evasion in P5? Does Counter (and shields?) go first like how shields are examined in SMT5? * How does Counter interact when learned by a user with weakness to Phys? * Can ailment-inducing attacks be reflected back at the attacker as well? * How does Counter interact against multi-hit skills? In terms of whether it repels all individual hits and/or whether it checks only the first hit. * Can Counter and its successors activate if the user's attack is reflected back at them, whether through resistance or Tetrakarn?
